My KW Dirt Master arrived about a year ago.   This one has upgrade package with the joy sticks and the hydraulic front stabilizers.  I also got all 3 buckets and the ripper tooth.  I have the fender package but do not plan to mount it until I need it.

Dirt Master as Crane and jack modification.

My Dirt Master spends about as much or more time doing crane duty as it does digging.

Here it is being used to lift the gear reduction off a Wisconsin AENLD.  I also used it to lift the engine up on the stand prior to this.

When lifting with it in the shop I put the  front stabilizers down and flip the rear ones so the are up but point to the rear.

I have switched all my small engines including the Dirt Master to ethanol free gas.    When they are not getting used of I add stabil.

I have bolted a caster wheel to the bottom of the jack.   The roller makes it a lot easier to move the hoe around the shop floor.

UPDATE:  The caster wheel was a good idea but the one I used is not up to the task.   I should replace it with a stronger one better able to handle the dirt this using works in.

To hookup the hoe to a tow vehicle I extend the boom until the unit is resting on the wheels and the bucket. Then you can use the hydraulics to move the hitch end up or down and left or right.  With the curl you can even move it ahead and back a bit.

I may have some images of it being used to move a large hot tub aka spa.
